Site History

The Long Words of it all...

So this site started off as a extremely personal site named karforever10. The name was very random...and my favourite number was 10, so yeah. I only managed to get 10 hits a day, and my HTML coding skills, were like, ZERO. I finally found out how to get HTML codes when I saw those strange boxes with text and numbers. I was like, obsessed with glitters , Dolls , and Flash Toys. I didn't know that it made a site look very tacky. I was also very confused at the time because I saw sites that were a lot cooler than mine. Then I changed the name to karforever11 (not a very nice choice, it sounded wrong). I added pages and pages of glitters and flashy things. I also added quite stupid pages that were totally unnecessary towards my visitors.
Next name....Gold-Glitz. Probably because one of my favourite colours was gold and Yellow-Glitz didn't sound right. I added more and more and more glitters and unnecessary stuff....and my colour-coordination skills didn't exist. In comparison to my site now, this site before looked like a total junkyard.
Hello to Twistedwishes11! I found a site namer and started experimenting. And then I got this present name (the 11 part..twistedwishes was already taken). Then I started deleting all the unessecary pictures and finally started colour-coordinating my site. Thanks to Esa-x and Pro-Friendz .piczo.com , I finally started getting subpages. But the site still looked messy - I relied on plain text for my blogs, and my only background was this yellowy-glitter-red thing that looked...disgusting. Then I found Paint Shop Pro. My graphics were like any other beginners', messy and bad. I started animating buttons too, after my PSP trial expired...but they were just as bad. After a while, when I didn't have any graphic program to concentrate on, I started focusing on navigation boxes...and good HTML. But it still looked SO MESSY.....but I finally managed to improve my coding skills and all, and found good navigation boxes, and I took the time to revamp separate pages and all.
Finally.....I did many revamps, and got the site just how I wanted it to be. I started organizing individual pages, made them all match, and hello, nice-looking site! I also learnt CSS and I made my pages look a lot better, and let's greet today's Twistedwishes11!
